Spectator Policy: We will be allowing 3 spectators per athlete, per team. No spectators for coaches will be permitted. Spectators will need to check in at 8:15 am and NO EARLIER! We will be checking in spetators according to team OVR rosters. Spectators will be given a stamp apon entry and check-in. Specators MUST WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES. Spectators are asked to leave the playing area, to practice social distancing, and to move from the court while their daughters are not playing. There is plenty of space in our commons area and a huge campus to spend time outdoors, if weather permits. If spectators do not follow the rules and social distancing is not followed, we will ask all spectators to leave for the remainder of the event. There is VERY limited chair seating, so please rotate spots so spectators of teams playing can see. Chairs are not to be left in place all day, or unattended.

 

Spectator Seating: Bleacher seating is available on each court and limited floor space is available for outside chairs. 

• Court 1(Pool A) and Court 2 (Pool B)- bleacher seating and VERY limited outside chair seating available

• Court 3 (Pool C)- bleacher and limited outside chairs along the wall available

Gyms: Benjamin Logan has 2 gyms on the same campus within walking distance, but if you are playing on Court 3 (Pool C) it may be easier to park at the middle school.

• Court 1 (Pool A) and Court 2 (Pool B) are in the High School Gym.  Court 3 (Pool C) is in the Middle School Gym.

Playoffs: All teams advance to bracket play. All first-place, second-place, best third place team, and second best third place team advance to the Gold Bracket and fourth-place teams advance to Silver Bracket. Playoff positions on the tournament brackets will be based on pool finish, so teams from the same pool shouldn’t play one another in the first round.  Pool play records and brackets will be posted and updated regularly.  

Awards: Presented to Gold Playoff Bracket Winner and runner-up.

No outside food will be allowed.  We will have an affordable variety available at our concession stand.

Cancellations

COVID 19

• Tournament or Site Required Cancellation- all entry fee, in full, are required to be returned within 10 days

• Team Cancellation- when a TEAM must withdraw from an event due to required quarantine/cancellation, NO REFUND of the event entry fee will be required of the event host. Every effort will be made of the host to replace the team withdrawing and refund of entry fee made possible.  A PARTIAL REFUND may result from this effort.  Many tournament directors have made a “reduced entry fee proposal” to entice a late entry.  The difference in cost must be returned to the withdrawn team.

Cancellation Policy

• A team cancelling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee. A team cancelling prior to the entry deadline does not forfeit its full entry fee if a replacement is found. Phone or other expenses incurred to find a replacement may be deducted from the entry fee refund. A team cancelling from one tournament to enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee. If a team requests and receives entry into a tournament but does not pay its entry fee, the team's club will be fined the amount of the entry fee.

Weather Related Cancellations/Delays

 

• If Logan County issues a Level 3 Emergency, the tournament will be cancelled.  If the tournament is cancelled, a notice will be displayed BLHS Volleyball Twitter Page (@BLHSVolleyball).  Club coaches/directors and assigned officials will be contacted by phone via the phone number we have on file.  Entry fees will be returned within 10 days of the cancellation.
