Coaches who have not completed certifications will not be allowed to coach per OVR Rules.
ALL OHIO COVID-19 REGULATIONS WILL BE FOLLOWED AND ADHERED TO DURING THIS TOURNAMENT. PLEASE REMIND YOUR PARENTS AND PLAYERS TO PLAN ACCORDINGLY (MASKS, SOCIAL DISTANCING, PARENTS ONLY, ETC.)
Doors open at 7:30am. The coaches' meeting at 8:00 AM at the
playing site will take place prior to the start of the
tournament – this will be located by the concessions stands.
The tournament starts at 8:30 AM sharp at St. Henry High School (St. Henry, Ohio).
There will be a $3 charge for all spectators. There is not a limitation on number of spectators per player.
Pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring.
We will be operating a 12-team tournament. Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap). The deciding set, if needed will be to 15 points with a minimum two point advantage (no scoring cap).
All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared court, 4-minutes Serving Team, 4-minutes Receiving team. Teams may request the referee to tell them when to serve, usually one minute.
Tee Shirts will be awarded for Gold Division Winners and a prize will also be awarded to the Runners-up

All teams advance. All teams must be ranked within their pools based on match percentage first. For any ties, use the tie-breaking procedure below. All first-place, second-place, and the top two third- place teams to the Gold playoffs. The remaining third-place and all fourth-place teams to the Silver playoffs.
Playoff positions on the tournament brackets will be based on pool finish to avoid teams from the same pool playing each other in the first round. To avoid third-place teams playing a team from their pool for the first tournament match, a tournament director can choose to switch best third- place and second-best third-place teams on the tournament bracket if both teams consent to the change.

Coolers and food: Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers (including soft-sided) are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are PROHIBITED
at OVR-sanctioned events. Tournament directors and site managers do not have the discretion to grant permission.
No outside food will be permitted in the playing facility.
If a club does not comply amicably with a tournament director's or site director's request, an Incident Report will be sent to Bob Price, OVR Commissioner, resulting in
up to a $250 fine and a team/club suspension.
A full concession will be provided at the tournament site: chicken sandwiches, pizza, hot dogs, pop, water, Powerade, fruit, candy, and baked goods.
All seating for spectators will be limited to the bleacher areas. In the 2nd gym there is not much room for spectators, so we ask that your fans clear the gym after your team’s match is completed in order for other fans to enter. WE WILL ALSO BE FOLLOWING COVID REGULATIONS FOR SEATING.
Chairs may NOT be brought by spectators! Please talk to the tournament director if you have a special circumstance.
Parking will be available in the back of St. Henry High School off of Main Street. Please do not park in front of the high school or on the west side of the school as the doors will not be opened for the public, and you will have to walk around the building. EVERYONE MUST ENTER THROUGH DOOR 19. This is near the media center.
Team/Tournament cancellation: Per OVR regulations- a team canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee.
If for any reason the tournament is canceled, a notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list. Club directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone, email) as soon as possible. Entry fees will be returned.
