After a disappointing first day at the Bid tournament, Mizuno Cincy Classics 15 Black set the tone for the remainder of the second day by playing exceptionally well against Toledo Volleyball Club. We placed 6th in that tournament with a loss to our own Red team and Atlantis (again!). But it was enough to get us to Atlanta. Our first day in Atlanta was tough, but the girls never gave up. We finished 3rd in our pool with only one win against New York Volleyball Club and two losses against Colorado Juniors and Palm Beach. The second day came with more enthusiasm and more drive to win. We finished 2nd but only after a tough loss in the first game against Faribault Red. But we beat teams from Hawaii and Front Range, and the girls were very excited. Things were getting better with back-to-back wins on the second day. The third day brought great teamwork and great volleyball. We won our pool with wins against RVC and Adidas Select, and the girls were more excited than ever. With four straight wins under our belts, we headed into day four with our heads held high and with great confidence. Day four turned out to be a victorious one, as we beat Circle City Juniors to walk away Flight 3 winners. With seven straight match wins and a win in our final game as a team, the girls went home winners!

Teams may enter Topspin tournaments by sending an entry fee ($200), team 11 digit ID#, and team contact name and address.

To All Club Directors and Coaches,
Team/Tournament Cancellation: Per OVR regulations- a team canceling after the entry deadline will forfeit its entry fee. A team canceling prior to the entry deadline does not forfeit its full entry fee if a replacement is found. A team canceling from this tournament to enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee.
Pool play and finals bracket is based on OVR assigned formats. First place winners bracket will receive T-shirts.
Doors open at 7:30AM and there will be a Coaches Meeting at 8:00AM. The tournament will start at 8:30AM. Teams may bring volleyballs and carts.
All coaches are to be Impact, Safesport and Concussion Certified. If it is not updated on the OVR site bring the certificate with you or email as it will need to be sent in to Tom Kohl. Coaches who do have completed certifications will not be allowed to coach per OVR Rules.
Seating: We are a smaller venue with bleachers and benches. We will have limited bleacher seating in the court area. Lawn chairs are not permitted in the main court area, only in player camp area.
We will have food concession available in the morning and through lunchtime. No coolers or outside food permitted in the YZone.
From the OVR Website Coolers and food: Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers (including soft sided) are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. If a club does not comply amicably with a tournament director's or site director's request, an Incident Report will be sent to OVR Commissioner, resulting in up to a $250 fine and a team/club suspension.
If Lawrence County is under a level 3 Emergency, the tournament will be canceled. For any reason the tournament is canceled, a notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list. Club directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone, email) as soon as possible. Entry fees will be returned within 5 days of the cancellation.
