The Glass City Volleyball Company 13 Diamond team roughed it through three families with car difficulties to finish in 21st out of 64 teams. The National experience was wonderful for the players and the girls and allowed them the opportunity to meet teams from all over the country. The difference between a finish in the top eight was really a third game loss, 13-15, on day two. The girls now know how hard it is to compete at this level and are more prepared for the future. They may not have won the gold, but the parents and the players shook the Hard Rock Cafe and the streets of Atlanta by leading a parade to the tune on "Y.M.C.A." The girls then finished the night with a horse and buggy ride back to the hotel.
