Kaepa CVC 18 Black traveled to Atlanta to compete in the very competitive division of 18 open. The team qualified in open by placing second at the MEQ. The squad consisted of the seniors Kris Brow (Wooster/Penn State), Cortney Gilbert (Midview/Cleveland State), Kailee Goold(Magnificat/West Virginia), Jess Pompei(Magnificat/Seton Hall), Katie Tobiasz (Rocky River/ University of Alaska,Fairbanks); juniors Maggie Case (Austiontown Fitch), Jill Qualye (North Royalton/Xaiver), Ashley Wallace (Amherst), Jackie Phiel (Amherst), Mel Snyder (Amherst); sophomore Lucy Raus (Wooster) and freshman Michelle Rossi (Padua). Coaches Troy and Cass Dixon kept this diverse group focused and prepared the entire season. The memories will last a lifetime!

Tournament Information
Tournament starts at 9:00am and doors will open at 8:00am. Coaches meeting will be in the field house at 8:30am. Coaches will need volleyballs. Parents will need to bring chairs. No coolers or outside food permitted in the Ewing Center, please leave it in your vehicle. There is lots of parking on both sides of the Ewing Center. There is a concession which is ran by the college's HPER department as a fundraiser for a nonprofit charity (lots of heathy fresh choices). All camping is in the field house along the walls.
