Directions

• From Columbus, Mansfield & Wooster:

  • US 30 East to State Route 21 North. State Route 21 north through downtown Massillon to the third traffic light, which is Cherry Street. Turn right on Cherry Street. The Massillon Recreation Center will be on your right.

• From Cleveland:

  • I-77 south to Fairlawn and State Route 21 south. State Route 21 south approximately 20 miles to Massillon. Cherry Street is the second traffic light.Turn left on Cherry Street. The Massillon Recreation Center will be on your right.

• From Youngstown:

  • I-76 west through Akron to State Route 21 south. State Route 21 south approximately 14 miles to Massillon. Cherry Street is the second traffic light. Turn left on Cherry Street. The Massillon Recreation Center will be on your right.

• From Dover, New Philadelphia and Marietta:

  1. I-77 north to Canton and US 30 west. US 30 west to State Route 21 north. State Route 21 north through downtown Massillon to the third traffic light, which is Cherry Street. Turn right on Cherry Street. The Massillon Recreation Center will be on your right.

  2. State Route 21 north through Strasburg and Navarre to Massillon. Continue on State Route 21 north through downtown Massillon to the third traffic light, which is Cherry Street. Turn right on Cherry Street. The Massillon Recreation Center will be on your right.

Tournament Information

Teams may enter Massillon Recreation Center tournaments by sending an entry fee ($225), team 11-digit ID#, and 
team contact name, phone, e-mail address and address and the coach’s name. Enclose a check for $225 made payable 
to City of Massillon.

Thank you for your interest in our tournaments. Team rosters will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of 
the tournament.

Please make sure your coach is IMPACT, Concussion & Safesport certified. Doors of Recreation Center opens at 8am.
A coaches’ meeting will be at 8:30 AM in the front lobby and will take place prior to the start of the tournament.
Coaches must attend to verify & sign their roster. The tournament starts promptly at 9:00 A.M. sharp. 

Please check www.OVR.org Website for Pools & Officiating Responsibilities. Please clean your camp site up prior to 
leaving. No teams will be allowed to camp out in the hallways during the tournament. The use of any ball outside of
the gymnasium is not permitted while inside the building. Keep all coolers in cars. No outside food or Coolers are 
prohibited in and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Concessions will be provided at the tournament
site. 

Seating for spectators will be provided in the gymnasium. Only those teams currently playing in a match are 
permitted on the gymnasium floor. No personal chairs are permitted in the gymnasium. Team/Tournament Cancellation:
Per OVR regulations; a team canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the tournament date, will forfeit
its entry fee. A team canceling prior to the entry deadline does not forfeit its full entry fee if a replacement is
found. A team canceling from this tournament to enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee. 

If Stark County is under a Level 3 Emergency, the tournament will be canceled. For any reason the tournament is
canceled, a notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list. Club directors and/or coaches and officials
will be contacted (phone, email) as soon as possible. Entry fees will be returned within a timely manner after a 
cancellation.
