Tournament format: Pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring. Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points

 

with a minimum two-point advantage(no scoring cap). The deciding set, if needed, will be to 15 points with a minimum two-point

 

advantage(no scoring cap). All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared court, 4-minutes serving team, 4-minutes receiving

 

team. Teams may request the referee to tell them when to serve, usually one minute.

Teams will officiate according to the above schedule for pool play.

 

All teams advance. All teams must be ranked within their pools based on match percentage first. For any ties, use the tie-breaking

 

procedure listed on OVR. All first-place and second-place teams to the Gold playoffs. All third place teams to the Silver playoffs. All

 

fourth-place teams to the Bronze playoffs. Playoff positions on the tournament brackets will be based on pool finish to avoid teams from

 

the same pool playing each other in the first round. Prized will be awarded to the 1st place and second place winners in Gold only.

 

Team camps will be permitted in the assigned rooms. 

 

No teams will be allowed to camp outside of these designated areas. 

 

No ball handling outside of the gym.

Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers (including soft sided) are prohibited inside facilities hosting
OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or cooking by teamsor their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents

 

are prohibited at OVR sanctioned events.
A full concession with reasonable prices will be provided at the tournament site. 

 

No outside food from restaurants is allowed inside of the facility. 

 

Outside drinks are permitted. 

 

No food is
allowed in the gym and only drinks with secured lids are permitted.

No smoking or vaping allowed on Eastside Athletics property.

All seating for spectators will be provided and outside chairs will not be permitted. 

 

Please cooperate with other parent groups.
If you will rotate so that the teams on the court are sitting next
to the court, the day will be so much more enjoyable for everyone involved.
If you have someone that needs special consideration for medical

 

reasons please let an employee know and we will accommodate you.


Cancellation Policy - In the event that Fairfield County is in a
Level 3 emergency, the tournament will be cancelled.
