Teams will officiate according to the above schedule for pool play. Tournament play will be the best of three sets. 
After the first round of the playoffs, all losing teams, before leaving, must stay and officiate the next match.



Playoffs: All teams advance. All first-place and second-place teams advance to Gold playoffs. All third-place teams will advance to Silver and fourth-place teams will advance to Bronze playoffs. 

Thank you for your interest in our tournament.  Team rosters will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the
tournament.  Please make sure your coach is IMPACT certified.  Doors will open at 7:30 AM, A coaches' meeting will be at 8:00 AM prior to the start of the tournament.  The tournament starts at 8:30 AM Sharp at Rio Grande College Boyd Hall.  Pool pay is the best of three sets with rally scoring. Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage(no scoring cap). The deciding set, if needed will be to 15 points with a minimum
two point advantage(no scoring cap). All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared court, 4-minutes Serving Team,4-minutes Serve Receving team. Teams may request the referee to tell them when to serve, usually one minute.

Please note, the doors of the playing site will not be unlocked until 7:30 AM. Team camps will be permitted in the designated areas and is first come first serve. No teams will be allowed to camp outside of the designated area.  

Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. 

A full concession with reasonable prices and healthy food will be provided at the tournament site.

Some seating will be available, chairs may/should be brought by spectators, but please share the front
viewing area with teams that are currently playing. NO chairs in the upper gym.

Tournament checks will be deposited January 15, 2012

Team/Tournament cancellation: Per OVR regulations - a team canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the
tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee.  A team canceling does not forfeit its full entry fee if a repacement is found. A team canceling from this tournament to enter a different tournament will forfeit its full entry fee.

If Gallia County is under a level 3 Snow Emergency, the tournament will be canceled. For any reason the tournament is canceled, a notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list. Club directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone,email) as soon as possible. Entry fees will be returned within 3 days of the cancellation.
