Tournament Information

Pools are posted for this Sunday.

16's are in Croy Gym

15's and 12's are in Koelher Fitness and Recreation Center (one
block north of Croy Gym on Main Street)

There will be a coaches meeting in each gym at 8:30 AM.  Play
begins at 9 AM.

All coaches should attend the meeting.  

Pool Play and Playoff Formats: 8 Teams

Pool play format: 2 courts, 3 referees, 8 teams, 18 matches
2 pools of 4 teams

For pools of 4 teams, the best of 3 sets will win matches. Each
non-deciding set will be won by the team that first scores 25
points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). If
there
is a deciding set, it will be won by the team that first scores
15
points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). Change
sides when a team earns 8 points. A point will be scored on each
rally. If the receiving team wins the rally, they score a point
and gain the serve.

Teams will officiate according the above schedule for pool play. 
Officiating in the tournament will be as described by the OVR.

Tournament format: All teams advance. All teams must be ranked
within their pools based on match percentage first. For any ties,
use the tie-breaking procedure below. All first-place and
second-place teams to the Gold playoffs. All third-place and
fourth-place teams to the Silver playoffs. Playoff positions on
the tournament brackets will be based on pool finish
to avoid teams from the same pool playing each other in the first
round.

Awards T-Shirts will be given to the first place in gold
playoffs.

Concession will be available from 9 AM - 3 PM only.  Please plan
accordingly.

Parking: Please do not park in the Church of God lot on Sunday
morning.  There are many other lots available on campus.

The tournament will be held unless Hancock County is under a
Level 3 Emergency at 9 PM on Saturday night.
