Tournament Information

PARENTS! SEND A GOOD LUCK GRAM! Send a good luck note and some pre-game goodies as a surprise and encouragement
 to your player or team! You can send one personally to a specific player, or a bigger gram to a whole team! 
Your good luck gram will be waiting for them at their campsite when they arrive in the morning and will 
include your personal note typed below along with candy and a fun little added surprise for each player!

We will strictly adhere to the OVR rules that NO OUTSIDE FOOD is allowed inside OVR sanctioned events. 
Please respect that rule made by the OVR and do not bring in outside food. In order to provide a great 
experience, we will host a variety of great food options the menu to include: Chick-Fila, Subway, 
Romeos Pizza, muffins, yogurt, fruit, veges and dip, as well as a huge variety of other healthy snacks 
and drinks.

Coaches meeting time - 7:30am (doors to event open at 7:00)
Starting time- 8:00am

Details of pool play-  For pools of 4 teams, the best of 3 sets will win matches. Each non-deciding set will be won by the team that first scores 25 points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). If there is a deciding set, it will be won by the team that first scores 15 points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap).

Playoff procedures-All teams advance to play offs. All teams must be ranked within their pools based on match percentage first.  All first-place and second-place teams to the Gold playoffs. All third-place teams to the Silver playoffs. All fourth-place teams to the Bronze playoffs.  Playoff positions on the tournament brackets will be based on pool finish to avoid teams from the same pool playing each other in the first round.

Officiating procedures- When a team is assigned to officiate, they required to supply the following: one second referee, two line judges, one scorer, one assistant scorer/Libero tracker, and one scoreboard operator. Coaches are required to sit at the table with their teams. No cell phones may be out at the time of officiating matches.

Site-specific rules and information- There is bleacher seating around courts as well as some room for additional chairs. Camping will be made available for teams on a 5th court at the end of the gym. Full concessions are offered. An on-site sports specialty shop, STRIVE4, is located in the facility for you to shop at between games. STRIVE4 will be able to offer any last minute volleyball supplies your team might need. In addition, there is an adult only lounge located upstairs that oversees the courts. Parents are welcomed to watch their players upstairs in a more peaceful and relaxing environment. The lounge has Internet access, a flat screen TV, and leather couches. Passes to the lounge are sold at the tournament for $2.00 a day. We reserve the right to limit the number of access passes to the lounge in order keep the environment relaxing and confortable for all.

Awards- Tournament prizes for overall winner of Gold bracket for each age group. PLUS....GOLD TROPHY TEAM BALL for overall winner as well. 

Concessions - Full concessions will be available with a variety of fun and healthy options, no outside food for drink according to OVR rules. All coolers must remain in cars.

Cancellation policy- Teams will be notified via email regarding any changes in the tournament. If weather issues require tournament cancellation, Teams will be notified no later than 24 hours prior to tournament.
