Directions

  • From the south: Take 271N to Rt. 90E, take 90E to Rt. 615. Turn left (north) on 615 to Tyler Blvd, Left (west) on Tyler. Eastside Volleyball Club is about 1 mile on your left.
  • From the west: Take 90E to Rt. 2E. Take 2E to Rt. 615, turn right (south) to Tyler. Turn right (west) on Tyler. Eastside Volleyball Club is about 1 mile on your left.
  • From the east: Take 90W to Rt. 615, turn right (North) on 615 to Tyler Blvd, left (west) on Tyler. Eastside Volleyball Club is about 1 mile on your left.

There are east and west entrances. The east entrance takes you to the front of the building. The west entrance is just past the east entrance. Follow that to the back of the building and turn left and drive along the back of the building. Parking is available on the east side of the building.

Tournament Information

Teams may enter Eastside Volleyball Club tournaments by sending
an entry fee ($175), team 11 digit ID#, and team contact name and
address by January 15.

Thank you for your interest in our tournaments. Team rosters will
be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the tournament.
Please
make sure your coach is IMPACT certified. A coaches´ meeting at
7:30 AM
on court 1 will take place prior to
the start of the tournament. The tournament starts at 8:00 AM
sharp. Pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring.
Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum
two-point advantage (no scoring cap.) The deciding set, if
needed,
will be to 15 points with a minimum two point advantage (no
scoring cap.)  All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-minutes
shared court, 4-minutes Serving Team, 4-minutes Serve Receiving
team. Teams may request the referee to tell them when to serve,
usually one minute.

Teams will officiate according to the above schedule for pool
play.


Please note, the doors of the playing site will not be unlocked
until 7:00 AM. Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited
in
and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up
tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans,
coaches, or parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. A
concession stand will be available at the tournament site.

Awards will be given to 1st and 2nd place teams in 4 net
tournaments and 1st place teams for 2 net tournaments. 
Tournament checks will be deposited January 15, 2011.

Team/Tournament Cancellation: Per OVR regulations-a team
canceling
after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the tournament date,
will forfeit its entry fee. A team canceling prior to the entry
deadline does not forfeit its full entry fee if a replacement is
found. A team canceling from this tournament to enter a different
tournament will forfeit its entry fee.

If for any reason the tournament is cancelled, a notice will be
displayed on the OVR Junior Tournament list. Club directors
and/or
coaches and officials will be contacted (phone, email) as soon as
possible. Entry fees will be returned within 3 days of the
cancellation.

SITE INFORMATION
Eastside Cleveland Juniors will be hosting a concession stand.
There is bleacher seating available.  Chairs will also be
permitted.
