• Directions to Veterans Memorial from 1-70 and 1-71

  Heading South: Take 1-71 south to the Broad St. exit and turn right. Continue approximately 1.4 miles and cross the Scioto River. Veterans Memorial will be on your right.

  Heading North: Take 1-71 north to the Broad St. exit and turn left. Continue approximately 1.4 miles and cross the Scioto River. Veterans Memorial will be on your right.

  Heading West: Take 1-70 west to 1-71 north. Take the Broad St. exit and turn left. Continue approximately 1.4 miles and cross the Scioto River. Veterans Memorial will be on your right.

  Heading East: Take 1-70 east to the Broad St. exit and turn left. Go approximately 2 miles and Veterans Memorial will be on your left.

2012 OVR Boys' Championships

*Deadline for entry fees is February 1, 2012.  Checks will be cashed the week of the tournament.


TOURNAMENT PROCEDURES: 

*Please check-in at the Tournament Desk immediately upon arrival.
*There will not be a coaches meeting.
*Team rosters will be attached to the tournament package.  Please initial all changes and sign on the bottom of sheet and return to the OVR Tournament Desk BEFORE you play your first match – mandatory! 
*All OVR playing rules will be used.  Teams will compete on Sport Courts and follow rules specific to that flooring.  In the playoffs, the previous loser or previous winner will ref the next match.  OVR tie-reaking procedures will also be used. 


SITE RULES:

*COURTS are located in NORTH Hall.

*Below are the site rules and regulations.  Violations of the rules and regulations will result in disqualification and elimination from the event of the offending teams and/or individuals, including parents. 
1. No coolers or food may be brought into the building by players or parents. (The center has food concession) Personal coolers are requested to be left in your vehicles. 
2. No passing volleyballs in hallways or concessions areas.  Warm-up time will be provided on the court before the match. 
3. No smoking in the facility. 
4. There are no shower facilities. 
5. Keep all chairs far away from any court or playable areas. (Parents may bring their own chairs.) 
6. Put all trash in containers provided by the staff.  
7. Doors open at 7:30am.  Play begins at 8:30am.  
8. Parking is available at the site for a small fee.  No charge for admittance to site. 
9. Food concession will be available. 

NOTE:  Tryouts for the 2012 OVR High Performance teams will be held on Saturday night at Veterans Memorial.  More details to follow.
