Sports Express is located on State Route 741 (Kings Mills Road) in Mason.

• Heading north on I-71 from Cincinnati, take Exit 25 (Kings Mills Road). Turn left off the exit and go 4 stop lights. (about 0.8 mile) Make a right into the Shoppes of Mason. Sports Express is located in the big grey building that sits behind Blockbuster Video.

• From I-75 heading south from Dayton, take the Monroe exit 29 (St. Rt. 63). Turn left off the exit and head east for 3 miles. Turn right on St Rt 741 and go south for 5.5 miles. You will come to a large intersection with Kroger's on your left. Make a left in front of Kroger's and then make another left at the first light. This is the entrance to the Shoppes of Mason. Drive straight back, Sports Express sits behind Blockbuster Video.

Tournament Information

Thank you for your interest in our tournaments.  
Teams may enter Elevation-Sports Express VBC tournaments by
sending an
entry fee ($170), team 11 digit ID#, and team contact name and
address by January 15th.

Team rosters will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of
the
tournament.  Please make sure your coach is IMPACT certified.  A
coaches' meeting at 8:30 AM at the concession stand playing site 
will take place prior to the start of the tournament.  
The tournament starts promptly at 9:00 AM at Sports Express VB
Center.
Pool pay is the best of three sets with rally scoring.  
Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum
two-point 
advantage(no scoring cap). The deciding set, if needed will be to

15 points with a minimum two point advantage(no scoring cap).  
All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format. Teams may request the 
referee to tell them when to serve, usually one minute.

Tee Shirts will be awarded for Gold Division Winners.

Teams will officiate according to the above schedule for pool
play.

All teams advance. All teams must be ranked within their pools 
based on match percentage first. For any ties, use the OVR
tie-breaking procedure.
All first-place and second-place teams to the Gold playoffs. All
third-place teams 
to the Silver playoffs. All fourth-place teams to the Bronze
playoffs. Playoff 
positions on the tournament brackets will be based on pool finish
to avoid teams 
from the same pool playing each other in the first round. . 
Tournament play will 
be the best of three sets. After the first round of the playoffs,
all losing teams, 
before leaving, must stay and officiate the next match.

Please note, the doors of the playing site will not be unlocked
until 8:00 AM at Sports Express Volleyball Center, team camps will
be
permitted on court 6 and in the lobby area.  No teams will be
allowed to camp outside of these designated areas.  

Keep all coolers outside of building.  Coolers are prohibited
inside
facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events.  Setting up tables
and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or
parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. We have plenty of

seating in bleachers and tables to eat inside and outside. 

A full concession with reasonable prices will be provided at the
tournament site.

Plenty of seating for spectators is available on bleachers and
lobby 
chairs overlooking the courts. 

Tournament checks will be deposited January 15, 2011

Team/Tournament cancellation:  Per OVR regulations- a team
canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the
tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee.  A team canceling
prior to the entry deadline does not forfeit its full entry fee
if a replacement is found.  A team canceling from this tournament
to enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee.

If Warren County is under a level 3 Emergency, the tournament
will be canceled.  For any reason the tournament is canceled, a
notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list.  Club
directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone,
email) as soon as possible.  Entry fees will be returned within 3
days of the cancellation.
