Tournament Information

Outside food and coolers are not allowed at One Wellness Sports &
Health. There is Bleacher seating available and limited space for
your own Chair. If you are in pools 1 or 3 there is bleacher
seating available. If you are in pools 2 or 4 you will need a
chair. The 1st 4 rows of parking are reserved for our monthly
members. Please do not park in the 1st 4 rows. If the front
parking lot is full there is additional parking available in the
west side (right side of building if you are facing) of the
building that will take you to a rear entrance. I will email your
coach/club director a schematic of our parking/entrance the week
before the tournament once I have the pools done. If you would
like this doc before they receive it feel free to contact me at

Tournament Information

Teams may enter may sending entry fee, team 11 digit ID #, and
team contact name and phone number by January 15th.

Entry fee is $170 per team.  Please write your entry fee check
payable to:  One Wellness Sports & Health

Doors open at 7:00 am.  Coaches' meeting is at 7:30 am on
Court #1.  Play begins at 8 am.

Awards will be given to first and second place teams in the Gold
Division only.  

This will be a 4 court tournament.  For pools of 4 teams, the
best
of 3 sets will win matches. Each non-deciding set will be won by
the team that first scores 25 points with a minimum 2-point
advantage (no scoring cap). If there is a deciding set, it will
be
won by the team that first scores 15 points with a minimum
2-point
advantage (no scoring cap). Change sides when a team earns 8
points. 
Pool Play Format
1 vs. 3 (2 refs)
2 vs. 4 (1 refs)
1 vs. 4 (3 refs)
2 vs. 3 (1 refs)
3 vs. 4 (2 refs)
1 vs. 2 (4 refs)
*Officiating teams will have to provide a down official (R2), a
scorekeeper, a libero tracker, a flip-scorer, and 2 line judges. 
The R2 and Scorekeeper should report to the court official at the
coin toss. If they are not present by the beginning of the first
timed warm-up then one point will be given to their next
opponent,
and one point will continue to be given for every minute that
they
are late. The rest of the support crew (line judges, scoreboard
operator and libero tracker) must report to the court official no
later than the beginning of the second timed warm-up or a point
will be given to their next opponent. An additional point will be
given for every minute that the work crew is incomplete for their
officiating duties. If no additional matches are to be played in
that tournament, the tournament director shall file an incident
report with the OVR commissioner and a $50 fine shall be imposed.

Playoffs
All teams advance. All teams must be ranked within their pools
based on match
percentage first. For any ties, use the tie-breaking procedure
below. All first-place and
second-place teams to the Gold playoffs. All third-place teams to
the Silver playoffs. All
fourth-place teams to the Bronze playoffs. Playoff positions on
the tournament brackets
will be based on pool finish to avoid teams from the same pool
playing each other in the
first round.  First and second place in the Gold division will be
given awards.


Outside food is not permitted in the facility.  One Wellness
Sports & Health 
Complex will be hosting a concession stand for participants and 
spectators which Personal coolers must be left in your
vehicle.

If severe weather is expected, please watch this space for
updates. If for any reason the tournament is canceled, a notice
will 
be displayed on the OVR Junior Tournament list. Club directors, 
coaches and officials will be contacted by email as soon as
possible. 
Entry fee will be returned within 3 days of cancellation.


Team/Tournament Cancellation:  Per OVR regulations:  A team
canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the 
tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee. A team canceling 
prior to the entry deadline does not forfeit its full entry fee 
if a replacement is found. A team canceling from this tournament 
to enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee.
