Tournament Information

Teams may enter tournaments by sending an entry fee ($175), team
	11 digit ID#, and team contact name and address by January 15. Tournament
	checks will be deposited January 15, 2011.

	Team rosters will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of
	the tournament. Please make sure your coach is IMPACT certified and
	all players and coaches have completed OVR membership. 
	
	A coaches´ meeting at 7:30 AM at the playing site will take place
	prior to the start of pool play. A team representative must be present at
	the coaches' meeting. The tournament starts at 8:00 A.M. Pool
	play is the best of three sets with rally scoring. Each non-deciding
	set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring
	cap.) The deciding set, if needed, will be to 15 points with a minimum two
	point advantage (no scoring cap.) All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4
	format; 2-minutes shared court, 4-minutes Serving Team, 4-minutes Serve
	Receiving team. Teams may request the referee to tell them when to serve,
	usually one minute.

	Teams will officiate according the above schedule for pool play.
		
	Teams 1-8 (first and second place teams of each pool and the best
	2 third place pool teams) go to the gold playoffs, teams 9-12
	(the last third place team and all 4th place pool finishers) go to the
	silver playoffs. The lowest seeded team in each division not
	playing the first round of the playoffs will officiate the first playoff match.
        Tournament play will be the best of three sets. After the first round of the playoffs,
	all losing teams, before leaving, must stay and officiate the next match.
	Awards to the winning players and coaches of the champions and runner-up
	teams in the gold playoffs.
	
	Please note, the doors of the playing site will not be unlocked
	until 7:00 AM. Team camps are only permitted in the Commons area. No teams
	will be allowed to camp out in the hallways or stage area during the
	tournament.  The use of any ball outside of the gymnasium is not permitted
	while inside the building. 
	
	Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside
	facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or cooking
	by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited
	at OVR-sanctioned events. A full serve concession will be provided at the
	tournament site.
	
	Seating for spectators will be provided in the gymnasium. Only
	those teams currently playing in a match are permitted on the gymnasium
	floor. 
	
	Tournament Cancellation: If Warren County is under a Level 3 Emergency, 
	the tournament will be cancelled. For any reason the tournament
	is cancelled, a notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior
