If 2 teams from the same pool are tied, their head to head match point differential determines their order of finish. 2. If 2 teams are still tied after point differential has been calculated, total point differential will determine order of finish. 3. If 3 or more teams from the same pool are tied after match and set % and point differential have been calculated, a coin flip will determine their order of finish. Pool Play format: 3 pools of 4 teams Pool 1 Pool 2 Pool 3 (1) 1st Pool A (1) 1st Pool B (1) 2nd Pool A (2) 3rd Pool B (2) 3rd Pool A (2) 2nd Pool B (3) 4th Pool B (3) 4th Pool A (3) 5th Pool B (4) 6th Pool A (4) 6th Pool B (4) 5th Pool A Second Round Match order: [team in ( ) refs] Match 1 1 vs. 3 (2) Match 2 2 vs. 4 (1) Match 3 1 vs. 4 (3) Match 4 2 vs. 3 (1) Match 5 3 vs. 4 (2) Match 6 1 vs. 2 (4) For pools of 4 teams, the best of 3 sets will win matches. Each non deciding set will be won by the team that first scores 25 points with a minimum 2 point advantage (no scoring cap). If there is a deciding set, it will be won by the team that first scores 15 points with a minimum 2 point advantage (no scoring cap). Change sides when a team earns 8 points. A point will be scored on each rally. If the receiving team wins the rally, they score a point and gain the serve. On Saturday, teams will complete the first round of round robin play and Match 1 and 2 of pool play. The remaining matches of the second round (matches 3,4,5,6) and the single elimination tournament will take place on Sunday. Tournament format: Overall game win/loss records will determine the order of finish for the gold tournament (top 8 teams) and the silver tournament (last 4 teams). Ties will be determined by (1)head to head play, (2) point differential in head to head play, (3) overall point differential, (4) coin flip.
