• Traveling south on I-75:

  Take exit 142 and turn right (west) onto State Route 103. At the first stop sign, turn left onto Main Street. At the third stop light, turn right onto College Avenue, which runs through the heart of campus. /p>

• Traveling north on I-75:

  Take exit 140 and turn left (west) onto Bentley Road. At the first stop sign, turn right onto Main Street. At the first stop light, turn left onto College Avenue, which runs right into campus.

Tournament Information

Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside
facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables
and/or
cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or
parents
are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. Tournament directors and
site managers do not have the discretion to grant permission.

Tournament directors can permit teams to bring food into a
designated area of the tournament facility. Some facilities do
not
permit outside food to be brought in to a tournament site. This
is
also allowed and will be enforced.

If a club does not comply amicably with a tournament director's
or site director's request, an Incident Report will be sent to
Bob
Price, OVR Commissioner, resulting in up to a $250 fine and a
team/club suspension. 

**************The tournament play starts at 9:00 AM.  Coaches
meeting will be held at 8:30 AM.  All coaches should attend the
meeting.  

Pool Play and Playoff Formats: 8 Teams

Pool play format: 2 courts, 3 referees, 8 teams, 18 matches
2 pools of 4 teams

For pools of 4 teams, the best of 3 sets will win matches. Each
non-deciding set will be won by the team that first scores 25
points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). If
there
is a deciding set, it will be won by the team that first scores
15
points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). Change
sides when a team earns 8 points. A point will be scored on each
rally. If the receiving team wins the rally, they score a point
and gain the serve.

Teams will officiate according the above schedule for pool play.

Officiating in the tournament will be as described by the OVR.

Tournament format: All teams advance. All teams must be ranked
within their pools based on match percentage first. For any ties,
use the tie-breaking procedure below. All first-place and
second-place teams to the Gold playoffs. All third-place and
fourth-place teams to the Silver playoffs. Playoff positions on
the tournament brackets will be based on pool finish to avoid
teams from the same pool playing each other in the first round.

Awards T-Shirts will be given to the first place in gold
playoffs.

Concession will not be available.  Please plan accordingly.

If Allen County is under a Level 3 Emergency, the tournament will
be canceled. For any reason the tournament is canceled, a notice
will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list. Club
directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone,
email) as soon as possible. Entry fees will be returned within 3
days of the cancellation.
