Tournament Information

Information for Tournaments at Fort Loramie High School

Doors will be unlocked at 8AM
There will be no bleacher seating (bring your folding chairs)
All Camping will be done in designated areas.  
Please look for signs directing you to the camping areas
Tournament will start promptly at 9AM
Coaches meeting will be at 8:40AM on court 1
We will have merchandise and concession stands open all day
Prizes will be given to 1st and second place teams in gold
Prizes will also be given to the winners of silver in 16 team
tournaments

Tournament format will be as follows:
Pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring. Each
non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point
advantage (no scoring cap.) The deciding set, if needed, will be
to 15 points with a minimum two point advantage (no scoring cap.)
All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared court,
4-minutes Serving Team, 4-minutes Serve Receiving team. Teams may
request the referee to tell them when to serve, usually one
minute.

Teams will officiate according the above schedule for pool play. 
Teams 1-4 (pool play winners and 2nd place teams) go to the gold
playoffs. All 3rd place teams go t the silver and 4th place teams
go to the bronze. The lowest seeded team in each division not
playing the first round of the playoffs will officiate the first
playoff match. Tournament play will be the best of three sets.
After the first round of the playoffs, all losing teams, before
leaving, must stay and officiate the next match. 
Team/Tournament Cancellation: Per OVR regulations- a team
canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the
tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee. A team canceling
prior to the entry deadline does not forfeit its full entry fee if
a replacement is found. A team canceling from this tournament to
enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee. 
Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside
facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or
cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents
are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. 
Team rosters will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of
the tournament. Please make sure your coach is IMPACT certified. 
If Shelby County is under a Level 3 Emergency, the tournament will
be canceled. For any reason the tournament is canceled, a notice
will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list. Club
directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone,
email) as soon as possible. Entry fees will be returned within 3
days of the cancellation.
