Ohio Valley Region Girls' High Performance (HP) Program
Mission
The mission of the Ohio Valley Region High Performance Program is to provide additional development opportunities for our region's elite junior volleyball athletes and coaches within the USA Volleyball National Team pipeline philosophy.
Age Divisions for 2009
- Players eligible for the Youth Program are those born on or after January 1, 1992.
- Players eligible for the Select Program are those born on or after January 1, 1994

Training Camp
We are following the lead of USA Volleyball A2 Program and training the players the days immediately preceding the tournament. Training camp will be held in Toledo at the University of Toledo. Players will report on Thursday, July 16 at 7:00 p.m. and will train Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. It is expected that the teams will train 2-3 sessions per day. Players will be housed in the dorm and will eat in the cafeteria. (We are requesting air-conditioned dorms) Players and coaching staff will leave from the Detroit Airport on Tuesday, July 21st and fly to Ft. Lauderdale.
USA Volleyball High Performance National Championship
The OVR HP Girls Select and Youth teams will compete in the USA Volleyball National Championships in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The competition dates are Wednesday, July 22 to Sunday, July 26th. Upon completion of the tournament-the evening of July 26th, the players and coaching staff will fly from Ft. Lauderdale to Detroit and will be returned to the University of Toledo where they will be released to their parents.
