Ohio Valley Region High Performance (HP) Programs
Mission
The mission of the Ohio Valley Region High Performance Program is to provide additional development opportunities for our region's elite juniors' volleyball athletes and coaches within the USA Volleyball National Team pipeline philosophy.
Age Divisions for 2008 and 2009
The following age definitions will apply to High Performance teams for 2008 and 2009:

| Girls' Select | Born in 1994 or 1995 |
| Boys' Youth | Born in 1991 or 1992 |
| Boys' Select | Born in 1993 or 1994 |
Coaches
Coaches for this summer's teams are as follows:

Participation Fee
Players selected to be on one of the teams will be required to pay a $500 participation fee which will cover:
- all training camp expenses
- all travel and lodging expenses to/at/from tournament
- all equipment expenses (retail value over $400)
Training Camp
Players selected to be on one of the teams will attend a training camp for approximately 5 days at a collegiate site in the OVR prior to leaving for the national HP tournament. The camp will not start prior to July 13 and will not end later than July 20.
Tournament
The OVR Girls' and Boys' HP teams will participate in the 2008 USAV National HP Championships in Tucson, AZ. We will leave the morning of July 22 from Columbus and return the evening of July 27. Parents are encouraged to attend and support the teams.
Please help to ensure that players know about the tryouts in a timely manner so that tryout applications can be sent in early. Feel free to copy/forward this e-mail to your club members.
