OVR Elections and Appointments
OVR Board of Directors
Each year the OVR elects five candidates to the board of directors to serve a term of three years, non-compensatory. If a person who is not on the Board wishes to run for the Board, he/she must submit a petition signed by 25 currently registered adult members of the OVR. In addition, aspiring board members should submit a profile stating the reasons they want to serve on the Board of Directors, how they feel they can help the region, and their relevant background.
The deadline for submitting this information is March 21, 2012.
Board terms ending on May 31, 2012 include those of Keith Burke, Stephen Donahue, Adam Evans, Patty Salvatore, and Emi Vishoot.
Those wishing to run for election for the OVR board of directors should submit all candidate materials to Gretchen Niebling, OVR Elections Chair, at 8540 Brent Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45231, or at niebling@ovr.org.
Profiles will be posted on April 1, or as soon as possible if candidates do not apply until the March 21 deadline.
OVR Officers
Officer terms open for election in June, 2012, include Regional Referees' Chairperson, Women's Program Director, and Girls' Program Director.
Officer positions are elected by the board of directors.
The OVR board of directors will select individuals for these positions from among the qualified applicants at the June board meeting. The 4-year terms will begin at the June board meeting.
Interested individuals should submit cover letters and resumes relevant to the positions for which they are applying. The deadline for applications for officer positions is May 31, 2011.
